Right. I need to wait until the 18th of this month to post a fresh post in our BF forum recruitment thread as per the rules. Usual blah blah blah. Obviously if you know anyone who is a simmer or even interested in sci-fi writing it would be nice if you'd direct them to us. We've got a lot of spaces to fill in the senior staff alone.

For the 2013 year I've decided that we will host a small selection of fourth year cadets to be placed within departments as part of a twist within the ship's crew. In my search for something different...HAZARD and marines have been done to death. Cadets aren't unique but to have a small class needing the practical experience to ensure they become excellent candidates for Starfleet graduation would be interesting to say the least.

Obviously this point is up for debate etc in the Suggestions area.

hahaha little middies running around. It practically writes itself. I went out to sea with Middies about 5 times, such clueless little tads.

I thought Dr. Jekyll was too obvious, lol. Obviously Hyde was the better half anyway...just like Hulk to Bruce Banner. It has nothing to do of course with also making fun of my gender. You're in good hands with Dr. Hyde, gentlemen...if you catch her on a good day. Mwahaha. No, but if I'm serious a moment: it'll be fun.

That is they say, is that. Mission One is complete, finito, done and dusted. Somehow I feel I may have rushed the ending a little but the bulk of it all was done.

I'd like to point out several things; well doing Danny for your flawless performance as Fong our bumbling engineer and of course Daniel Sullivan himself as the rough and ready NCO. The way you kept the flow going for me to work off of was particularly useful.

Though he was LOA for most of the mission, round of applause to our CDO, Lieutenant JG Wercheg who's short time in the limelight when facing the Breen off in the bridge shows that he has excellent potential!

Also our Chief Security Officer Richard Wayne did a wonderful job on the bridge scene with the Breen. Obviously given the bad timing with the holiday season Oliver wasn't there with us. Which brings me to my next point...

Oliver Dougherty expressed his interest in becoming the Executive Officer along with his Strat Ops duties. I've decided to not only give him the position given that I'd rather trust the OOC leadership with the site should I pop off on LOA for whatever reason with a 'seasoned' member of the crew, but add a rank pip to him.

In light of his new position he is now Lieutenant Oliver Dougherty.

After much mulling over, Chief Petty Officer Daniel Sullivan is hereby appointed as the ship's Chief of the Boat, the head of all enlisted personnel be they PCs, PNPCs or NPCs. He still retains his duties as a damage control specialist.

You can wear red if you want

Argh... Oh well, atleast I'm just the CDO, so my absence was not all too noticeable from the action.

It was alright. I partook in some things that I'd rather not recount. On an odd note though, my friend's girlfriend got hammered at a party, and kissed someone. My friend broke up with her. She's now trying to hook up with me.

Oh yes! Once I left the misery company of my family, and I got to hang out with my friends, it was a blast! I forgot how much I love eggnog. Alas, it is now out of season.

Frankly I think that enjoying anything is a valid reason to have it. Anywho, anything or anyone you want to write for or with for our little interlude mission?

I was thinking of maybe having a JP with Desdemona or Sullivan. Probably Desdemona since she isn't going to be getting a promotion or anything.
