"Fire all Starboard phaser banks. Ops get a hold of Engineering we need some shields so we can get back in this fight." Richard looked over some readouts. Just then he got a message from Lt. Doughtery lookslike he found our weakness. Richard was flipping his work switch on and it was time to fight to survive.
"Sir, we have conformation phasers had found something on our starboard side." Chief Stormer yelled from the Tactical post.
Richard thought that this will even things up its time to unleash hell on the Breen. "Helm bring us around so we can be in the firing arc of our torpedo but try and keep our nose down until we get our shields up any shots we take I want on our armored roof not our soft underbelly." With the orders the Indie lurched forward and through the thick Nebula you could just make an outline of the Breen Destroyer.

The Breen cruiser's shields flared up as the phaser beams struck. With the nebula swirling around the two vessels it had turned into a blind shoot. Disruptor beams fired, missing the Starfleet vessel. Another salvo was fired which struck the ship and smashed against the unshielded hull. It slithered underneath the Indefatigable before firing two torpedoes towards her nacelles, barely grazing the hull plating.
Like a shark stalking a stricken seal the Breen crusier swung around to face the Indie down with its frontal weapons, hammering towards the port side of the starship. More shots from the frontal disruptor cannons sped orbs and beams of hostile green light towards its target, determined to cripple the ship further.

The Indie was rocking from all these hits. Richard wasn't sure the old hull could take much more. "Helm lets try something new Invert us go Belly up." The room kinda went quiet at the request and all eyes turned to Richard. "Did I stutter... Chief plot in the Weak Spot and fire everything we got I want those Disrupters down!!!"
As the Helm started to twist the Indie in the odd formation. Chief Stormer was trying to get a lock. "Sir, the nebula is really messing with the targeting system."
Richard glared back at his chief and gave out a sigh as he stood from the chair and went back to the Tactical station. It seemed to be working the Breen had no clue what the Indie was doing and the added difficulty to lock on kept there guns silent for a minute. Richard pulled up the specs he had gotten from Lt. Dougherty and manually locked at what he figured was the spot and let lose phasers followed by a blast of torpedoes. There was a flash of blue shield hit and then an explosion it had worked the kink in the armor was found now to see if the aim was good enough to take the disrupters offline.

The fire from the Indefatigable, at first, bounced off of the Breen's shields but it wasn't long before they broke and shots started to impact on the frontal hull armour. Weapons were the first thing to go but it wasn't long before internal explosions rippling along the power conduits with the sudden surge started to cause even more problems. Someone had wired the ship wrong and it started to lose main power, a large explosion pushing its course underneath the Indefatigable.
However there was a moment of collision when the rear end of the Breen ship caught some of the Indie's hull, tearing a gash through the lower most deck before drifting innocently away into their starboard phaser arcs. It was crippled. For now.

"Sir we have hull breach on the lower decks the plan worked but we collided." Ops Officer explained
Richard stood up it had been a risky move he had down in a simulation once and it payed off but at what price. "Get Damage control teams down there seal off those sections. Get me a count of loss ASAP." Richard walked up closer to the view-screen. It looks like the big Breen ship was finally dead in the water. The glimmer of the kill got in Richard's eyes he turned to his trusted Chief at the Tactical station. "Chief let loose hell on them all starboard phasers. Blow them back to the icy hell they came from."

Without shields the Breen ship was open to the phaser shots. At first they missed or glanced off of the ship's hull. Then they got closer and closer until the main body of the Breen vessel was being sliced away by intense phaser fire. It wasn't long until the warp core started to go critical like pressure building within pipes. There was only one way for it to be released.
Just over minimum safe distance from the Indefatigable, the Breen ship exploded. Debris peppered and showered the Starfleet cruiser. Hull fragments bounced along the vessel's hull which caused gashes and dents to appear. Yet the fight was one, the guns could be silenced.
For now at least.

"Fire all Starboard phaser banks. Ops get a hold of Engineering we need some shields so we can get back in this fight." Richard looked over some readouts. Just then he got a message from Lt. Doughtery looks like he found our weakness. Richard was flipping his work switch on and it was time to fight to survive.
"Sir, we have conformation phasers had found something on our starboard side." Chief Stormer yelled from the Tactical post.
Richard thought that this will even things up its time to unleash hell on the Breen. "Helm bring us around so we can be in the firing arc of our torpedo but try and keep our nose down until we get our shields up any shots we take I want on our armoured roof not our soft underbelly." With the orders the Indie lurched forward and through the thick Nebula you could just make an outline of the Breen Destroyer.
"Did I stutter...Chief plot in the Weak Spot and fire everything we got I want those Disrupters down!!!"
For now.
